Dr Frederick Goh, or Dr Fred, as he is affectionately known to patients, graduated in Singapore in 1991. As a medical officer, he was accepted into the Family Medicine GP training scheme, where he trained in two major tertiary hospitals under different professors and senior staff, successfully completing postings in General Medicine, Paediatrics, ENT, Eye, Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry, Orthopaedics, Anesthesiology, Radiology and Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

 

He has spent the last 25 years working in General Practice in both his own clinic as well as with various other GP practices, large and small, both in Singapore and Auckland, honing his clinical skills and developing his diagnostic acumen.  As a Fellow of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners, he enjoys all aspects of being a GP and Family Doctor. His special interests include Eye, Ear, Nose, Throat and Lung conditions, long term Diabetes, Hypertension and Lipid management to prevent strokes and heart disease. He has his own slit lamp for external eye problems, a special otoscope for ENT problems as well as dermatoscopes for skin examination. Having had 6 children of his own, he enjoys seeing young families, babies and kids. He strongly believes in patient empowerment through health education and is the author of the diet book The Metabolic Apocalypse which introduces The Liberty Diet, created to combat obesity and its consequences. (We have some copies that we are happy to give out free of charge and you can also catch Dr Fred for an autograph if you wish!)

Educated in an English language environment in multiracial Singapore, he is conversant in Mandarin and 3 other Chinese dialects namely Cantonese, Taiwanese Hokkien and Teochew.  He can even speak a bit of Malay. He loves sorting out different interesting diagnostic dilemmas and enjoys helping patients to achieve better health. He is always happy to provide a listening ear, a sound clinical plan and personalised premier GP care to anyone who walks through his door.

Our lead nurse Mary comes from Taiwan and was trained in New Zealand, completing her degree almost a decade ago.

Since then she has worked as a practice nurse in various practices in Auckland acquiring valuable nursing skills such as wound care, ear syringing and liquid nitrogen. She is known to be a fast and accurate vaccinator, is certified in IV line insertions and blood taking, and is also a nurse champion in PAP smears, her record being 87 smears completed in a single month!

She speaks excellent English as well as Mandarin and conducts patient education, recalls and checks for Diabetes, Cardiovascular disease, Asthma and Smoking cessation. She can even do Aclasta and Iron infusions! She is well known for her smile and enjoys her daily interaction with patients. She considers it a great privilege to be of help and service to them during their difficult times. She has played an integral part in setting up the nursing services in our clinic and is deeply committed to providing premier nursing care to all our patients.

Joyce is our lovely new receptionist who has taken over from Maggie who is away on maternity leave.

​

After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Massey University, Joyce worked on various consultancy positions,

analyzing retail channels to identify customer needs so as to deliver solutions that build  customer relationships.

​

Her strong customer service background was enhanced by her 4 year stint as manager of a café business

where she organized staff and help promote customer relationships over different social media platforms.

​

She brings her strong organizational skills and customer service excellence to care effectively

for all your non-medical related interactions with our clinic.

​

She is fluent in English and Mandarin and also reads and writes Chinese

so she is able to communicate with patients in both languages.

Joanne graduated with an Honours law degree and since then she has been busy being the wife of Dr Fred looking after their six children. She honed her clinic designing skills in 1999 when she designed and completed their first clinic in Singapore.

​

This time around, her attention to detail and meticulous planning can be seen throughout our wonderful premises. She has single handedly guided a team of talented NZ craftsmen in completing renovations in record time and has imbued the clinic with the warmth and charm of a modern home

 

She believes in a holistic clinical experience for all our customers and works tirelessly to perfect the clinic environment as well as each customer's experience. She speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Hokkien as well as a tad of Malay. She helps out in reception and is happy to answer questions and assist in delivering Premier Healthcare for all our patients.

Kiki is currently away in China on extended leave to have her first baby!  We congratulate her and wish her well!

Our lovely receptionist Kiki obtained her first degree in China before completing her Masters in Marketing Management in the Honor Roll at Massey University, NZ.

​

​She has worked in the health industry since she completed her studies and comes from a strong customer service background, having worked in Green’s Health as a store manager where she was instrumental in cultivating customer rapport and improving customer service. She has just left Chemist Warehouse, where she was a pharmacy assistant, to join us in her first foray into medical reception. She speaks fluent English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. She is able to read and write Chinese as well which can be a great help to our Chinese-speaking patients.

After completing a Bachelor’s degree, she worked in a bank in China where she honed her skills in building reliable

client relationships by maintaining a high level of professionalism, privacy and confidentiality.

 

After coming to New Zealand, she studied to become a qualified pharmacy technician assisting pharmacists with dispensing and packaging medication for patients at Pharmville Queen Street Pharmacy and Health New Lynn 7 day Pharmacy.

She enjoyed daily patient interactions and assisting with their medication queries and dispensing needs.

 

She brings her strong attention to detail and her well honed skills in patient care to our clinic,

and is well positioned to care for all your reception, enrolment and admin needs.

 

Besides speaking English and Mandarin, Maggie also reads and writes Chinese,

and she is able to answer your email queries in both languages.
